A scientific review of the science behind lockdown concludes the policy was a MISTAKE & will have caused MORE deaths from Covid-19
The report, analysing the information available to UK policymakers in March, says schools shouldn’t have shut, that only vulnerable groups like the old should have been isolated, & that herd immunity may have been a better route.
A new paper by researchers at Edinburgh University suggests that lockdowns do not help to reduce the death toll from Covid-19, but may simply postpone those deaths. It’s another piece of evidence that suggests that a different strategy to combat the pandemic – one that doesn’t impose blanket restrictions across society – is needed.
Confinement lowers your immune system.
The data to keep America closed and Americans closed in simply doesn’t exist.

Lockdowns made NO difference to coronavirus but destroyed millions of livelihoods worldwide, JP Morgan study claims
Study about lockdown.
The confinement it is based on no scientific evidence. The confinement is truly the health scam of the 21st century, an inquiry must be done about it and those responsible in the WHO and Imperial College London must be questioned and if necessary tried.
Dr. Knut M. Wittkowski, former head of biostatistics, epidemiology and research design at Rockefeller University, is a ferocious critic of the nation’s current steps to fight the coronavirus. He has derided social distancing, saying it only prolongs the virus’ existence, and has attacked the current lockdown as mostly unnecessary.
“With all respiratory diseases, the only thing that stops the disease is herd immunity. About 80% of the people need to have had contact with the virus, and the majority of them won’t even have recognized that they were infected,”
A Nobel Prize-winning scientist from Stanford believes that the nationwide, 3-month lockdown that devastated the American economy actually cost more lives than it saved. – Dr. Michael Levitt Nobel Prize
A “massive” Spanish study shows that confined people were more infected than unconfined people.
A study was carried out by the Spanish authorities on 60 983 persons, detecting antibodies against COVID-19. One result in particular drew our attention: active workers were separated into two groups: “essential workers”, not confined to the home, compared to other active workers confined to Spain. The difference is very interesting: those who were not confined were less infected than those who were confined.
These data, based on massive studies, allow us to reflect on the importance of home confinement, which in Spain has not proved its effectiveness, whereas the closure of collective gathering places (stadiums, concert halls, places of worship…) during these epidemic periods makes a lot of sense.
This is in line with the data we have at the IHU, where only 3.5% of the staff, despite being in permanent contact with patients, have antibodies that indicate an infection, whether diagnosed or not.

Covid-19 and blind containment, how many preventable deaths?
Epidemic is decreasing :
Blind confinement of an entire population: mortality 5 to 20 times higher than the confinement of infected people alone (per million inhabitants on 5 May 2020) :
In blue: border closures and quarantine of infected people
In orange: minimal measures
In grey: blind police confinement of the entire population
Blind police containment mixing infected and healthy subjects is the worst mortality prevention strategy.
Blind confinement of an entire population: mortality 2 to 20 times higher than the confinement of infected people alone (per million inhabitants on 6 May 2020) :
In blue: blind police confinement of the entire population (Spain, Italy, France, Belgium)
In orange (middle) (6): quarantine of virus carriers only ( Germany, Austria, Norway, Korea, Japon)
In orange (end) (2) : without quarantine without confinement ( Netherlands & Sweden)
Evolution of the number of deaths according to the covid-19 treatment policy :
Spain (orange) : not using Chloroquine
Italy (blue) : not using Chloroquine
Morroco and Algeria (grey and yellow) : using Chloroquine
This blind confinement, decided in haste without preparation, has led to many tragedies and deaths. Was it really necessary? Seasonal influenza is responsible for 290,000 to 650,000 deaths every year worldwide, tobacco about 7 million/year, and cancer 9 million/year.
Five Benefits of Social Interactions for Seniors
- Increased physical health. Seniors who engage in relationships tend to be more active, improving their physical health through their social activities. Additionally, they are also more motivated to maintain physical health to keep up with their peers.
- Boosted immune system. Studies show socially active seniors have increased immune systems, allowing them to fight of colds, flus and other ailments, more easily. They also tend to have better eating habits, as social gatherings tend to incorporate food and meals. Eating with others usually leads to choosing healthier options, as well.
- More positive outlook on life.
- Improved mental sharpness.
- Longer, happier lives. By keeping an active social calendar, seniors can increase their lifespan and longevity. They benefit from having a support system of peers who understand what they are going through. These commonalities allow for deeper, and potentially more fulfilling connections.
500 doctors tell Trump to end the coronavirus shutdown, say it will cause more deaths
Hundreds of doctors wrote a letter to President Trump this week asking him to end the coronavirus shutdown, saying it is a “mass casualty incident” spurring deaths from other factors such as substance abuse and suicides.
The letter, shared online, estimates about 150,000 Americans each month that the shutdown remains in place would have had new cancer detected, millions more are missing dental exams that could discover problems linked to heart disease, while others are experiencing domestic violence like child abuse.
“Suicide hotline phone calls have increased 600%,” the letter sent to the president on Tuesday read.
‘Professor Lockdown’ Ferguson, UK’s Covid-19 czar, admits crippling restrictions MADE NO DIFFERENCE – where’s the outrage?
The evidence from the two countries’ differing approaches has left the professor with little escape route. UK (full lockdown/businesses shut down): 579 Covid-19 deaths per million of population. Sweden (softer restrictions/businesses kept open): 442 deaths per million.
LOCKDOWN: Unscientific and nonsensical. Top scientist, Dr Glenda Gray, slams Government’s lockdown strategy
According to Gray:
- Malnutrition cases were being seen in hospitals.
- The month-to-month phasing-out of the lockdown has no basis in science.
- Many lockdown regulations were seemingly thumb sucks.
The government needed to reflect on its decisions and admit it had made mistakes because the nature of the pandemic was always changing, she said.
The Lockdown Has Gone From a Mistake to a Crime
Regarding the economic catastrophe in America and around the world — especially among the world’s poor who are dependent upon America and other first-world countries for their income through exports and tourism — I wrote, “It is panic and hysteria, not the coronavirus, that created this catastrophe.”
Unfortunately, I was right.
The world should have followed Sweden’s example. That country never locked down and has even kept children under 16 in school the entire time. As Reuters reported on July 15, the number of Swedish children between 1 and 19 years of age who have died of COVID-19 is zero. And the percentage of children who contracted the illness was the exact same in Sweden as it was in Finland, which locked down its schools.
Mexico’s president calls virus lockdowns “dictatorship”
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador suggested Wednesday that politicians who impose lockdowns or curfews to limit COVID-19 are acting like dictators.
The comments came as López Obrador once again fended off questions about why he almost never wears a face mask, saying it was a question of liberty.
The Mexican leader said pandemic measures that limit people’s movements are “fashionable among authorities … who want to show they are heavy handed, dictatorship.”
“A lot of them are letting their authoritarian instincts show,” he said, adding “the fundamental thing is to guarantee liberty.”
